Many of you may remember the many Napa Farmer's and Chef's Markets that Amanda worked in years past. In fact, many of you tried us for the first time based just on a Farmers Market connection. Thank you for helping grass-roots community marketing work.
Starting in May, we're back at the Napa Downtown Farmers Market. Maxine is offering chair massage for just $1 per minute. She's also got Amanda's homemade Rosemary Citrus Bath Salts to give FREE, when you make a $5 donation for Breast Cancer.
Party Plans
Come
August, NMB will be marking its 10 year anniversary. Plans are in the
works for an upscale evening event honoring clients and staff.
Interestingly, tin or aluminum are symbols of a 10 year anniversary
because their pliability represents how durable and flexible things
need to be to last so long. So, we'll be including a canned food drive
for the Napa Valley Food Bank. Due to the special cause for
celebration, this party will be a little different than those we've had
in the past. Look for a late summer date to come celebrate and special
offers worthy of the milestone.

I'm at the 30 day countdown for my Avon 2-day Walk for Breast Cancer in San Francisco. I've got a month to prepare for walking 37 miles in a weekend. I'm not ready.
But are we ever ready for the hard stuff in life? This past week I massaged a woman who lost her mother, then two weeks later her aunt, to breast cancer. A few months later she was diagnosed with breast cancer herself and went through chemo and radiation. Just a few months after that her father died from cancer. It remains the worst year of her life. Nothing she could have done would have made her ready for it. Now she is a 3 year Survivor.
So, I can get up and go walk. And that's as ready as I'll ever be in this life.
